HOERBIGER supports Hamburg’s hydrogen future
HOERBIGER is supplying three HCP 500 hydrogen compressor packages for the 100 MW Hamburg Green Hydrogen Hub, which is to be built by 2027.
The green hydrogen produced there using renewable energy sources is expected to make an important contribution to the decarbonization of industry and mobility and support the energy transition in Germany. Kraftanlagen Energies & Services was commissioned to build the infrastructure around the electrolyzer and, in turn, entrusted HOERBIGER with the delivery of the three compressor packages. The HCP 500 compressor package meets high reliability requirements with a maintenance interval of up to 4,000 hours. At the same time, strict specifications for investment and ongoing operating costs are met and a compact plant design is made possible.
