The new Sustainability Report 2023 documents further developments

In 2023, HOERBIGER made significant progress in optimizing data quality and reliability, which will provide more precise insights into our emissions and energy consumption in the future. Also other areas were further intensified and professionalized, such as CSR.

Past year, HOERBIGER made significant strides in several key areas, laying a strong foundation for future sustainability efforts. Notably, the company enhanced data quality and reliability, ensuring that by 2024, robust tools will provide accurate data on emissions and energy consumption. Additionally, there was substantial progress in the Solar Systems initiative and CSR projects, along with advancements in the sustainable products pipeline, which will contribute to customers' decarbonization efforts.

Looking ahead, HOERBIGER plans to accelerate the transition to clean energy starting in 2024, which will boost renewable energy usage and reduce Scope 2 emissions. While the reduction of Scope 3 emissions, involving green steel and sustainable supply chains, is a longer-term goal, these initiatives mark a crucial step toward achieving the company’s sustainability goals. Furthermore, HOERBIGER is committed to expediting the implementation of CSR projects as part of its broader strategy for 2024 and beyond.
